On 1 September 2012 Charlie, Jon and Stu kayaked across The English Channel in aid of Action Duchenne, raising over £10,000 in the process. This blog tells the story of how the challenge came about, the 12 month training "regime" and the crossing itself.

Gents, Firstly congratulations on an amazing achievement! Looking at the video clip and the blogs posted it looks like it was a real adventure from start to finish. I was wondering if it would be possible to pick your brains on how you'd even begin to plan and train for such a challenge? Having ran in a few marathons and taken part in triathlons i'm looking for a step up and hopefully raise a huge bundle of cash for charity.
Anyway, I appreciate it has been while since you finished but any help would be appreciated.
Well done again guys, and great choice of music :) The Pannis xxxx
